Delienne first produced this cuvée, derived from purchased grapes, in the 2017 vintage to compensate for his losses in Fleurie to hail that year, and the 2018 Brouilly Arpayé Pierreux continues to show very well, offering up an inviting bouquet of cherries, raspberries and spices. Medium to full-bodied, ripe and fleshy, it's just as generous and enveloping as it was last year, with an ample core of fruit, powdery tannins and a sapid finish.
