Named “Death Slope” as a reference to the steep slope (40%) where this plot wine is from. This plot based wine from a hillside abandoned for its steep slop but renowned for it quality Mondeuse since the Middle Ages when the Benedict monks of Saint Philippe Monastery cultivated this hillside then in terraces. A wonderful wine with low yields and long barrel aging (10 month). Wine is bottled without fining nor filtration.
