The vineyard is only 0.43 hectares, located in west of Beaune "La Montée Rouge". The slope is very steep, the soil is clay and limestone, the vines are 68 years old, the winery began to use organic planting very early, using the whole bunch of grapes with stalk fermentation, carbon dioxide maceration method to extract fresh fruit aroma and balance, ageing on lees for 24 Month, 1/3 use new barrels. On December 9, 2018, manual bottling was carried out by gravity, without clarification and filtration, and no sulfites. In 2017, only 947 standard bottles and 100 bottles of 1.5L magnums were produced.
A deep garnet Beaune, nose with blackcurrant and black cherry, with a frank, fresh and crunchy palate. A bottle that can be drunk young or put aside. A lot going on in the mouth. It is superb !
