A highly refined 100% Syrah, this Crozes-hermitage has aromas of black fruit and violet, spices and liquorice. Powerful and concentrated, it has silky, round tannins embellished with a long, spicy and finely woody finish.
"Clos des Grives" is made from an organic Syrah crop which is harvested by hand and destemmed. 25 days of vatting, daily pump-over, malolactic fermentation in barrels and ageing for one year in recent casks make it a wine to be savoured with apple pie or lamb chops with prunes.
Combier Crozes-Hermitage “Clos des Grives” serves at a temperature of 15°C. It will pair perfectly with the following dishes: Faisan rôti, Rôti de veau aux champignons, Pavé de boeuf sauce au poivre.
